Welcome to Preparing Your TED Talk!

TED is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 devoted to spreading ideas worth sharing. TED Conferences started in 1990 for a select audience with a roster of speakers including scientists, philosophers, musicians, businesses, philanthropists, and other influential figures. A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and performances planned and coordinated by a community for the benefit of individuals within it. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed independently, but all of them have features in common. Taught by a three-time TEDx Talk speaker, this course walks you through the steps to develop and deliver a TED Talk of your own. The sessions include:

    • Understanding TEDx
    • Determining Your Topic
